Looking to Purchase

Hi I am new to the fiberglass camper world and looking to purchase a used fiberglass camper in my area. I am in the DC metro area but willing to drive up to 200 miles to find a camper... thanks!

Hi Lynda
You will find what you're looking for.
When you do see what you want go for it.
Maybe take somebody along that has been down this path before that will hopefully see any defects if there are any. Fridges and furnaces are expensive.
Test them. My fridge pilot light is hard to see but you can feel it get hot real soon. Make sure it does work. Will take hours for the fridge to get cold but just be sure it works. Look for any powder on the coolant tubing. This is a sign of leakage.Good luck
Go and Enjoy

Hi Lynda,

We just listed a 2018 Escape 21. We are across the country, but have a son in the DC area - so maybe something could work out.

Hi, Lynda, please consider our Parkliner. You can see pictures and details at this URL:

We live in the Raleigh, NC area, takes us about 3 1/2 hrs to to get to DC.

Lots of different floor plans out there, lots of different tow vehicle requirements, lots of variation in bed sizes and lots of differences in what is standard in the various brands.

Highly recommend you attend a rally or two first before you buy, we did the opposite and found out the first trailer we had already bought didn’t really suit our needs. So we sold it and bought another one. Not the smartest or cheapest route!

Just the three above are each very different from each other.

Lyndanray, hi. I'm also near DC, in Virginia, looking into campers. Good luck finding one. Lots of different ones out there.

Many non fiberglass trailer owners think all our rigs are pretty much the same, yet we are very aware of a wide variety among us. Amusing.

You got it Walt. They all look like eggs!

Thing is our Parkliner out-competes both Scamp and Casita of similar size for bed size and interior height. We're gonna miss it, but need to go bigger.
