Ok...i'm still open to a forum member willing to rent me theirs Just not at $125 per night. At $125 per night I would just get a hotel room

How about $50 per night
If you rent it for 5 nights you get the 5th night free so its really only $100 per day.

Cruise America charges about $150 per night for their smallest trailer which is a 19' based on pick up and drop off in the LA area.

$150 a night plus, let's say $42 for the campsite and don't forget the fee for cleaning the camper when you return it, and extra insurance to cover any damage ( or you can just pay to have the scratch on the gelcoat professionally repaired ).
That four-star hotel is looking pretty good. Or maybe that Wallmart tent.

@Glenn Baglo Yes, my thoughts exactly. I'd be out a good $1,200 for a 5 night camping trip hahahahaha.

For anyone willing to lend me theirs, I promise to take very good care of it and treat it as my own. Should there be a snafu and I break it, I'll buy it

A few years ago, I was going to take the Casita for a girls weekend in my home town. My wish to have a 2 week va-ka kept losing a day here and there. I already had my reservation as well as all my girlfriends had their sites reserved. I finally decided it would be better for me to fly in, rent a rv. What a joke! Not only do the have the daily rental fee, cleaning fees, etc, they tack on a bunch of other crazy fee's. One fee was to teach me how to dump the black and gray tanks! I explained to the reservation lady that I knew how to dump, that I had owned a rv most of my adult life, grew up with rvs, owned a rv park that I had to help newbies learn to dump, etc etc etc. They couldn't waive the "dumping lesson 101" fee because that is what they required all rentals! It was a $65 fee! I actually considered just buying a lil tent trailer and letting a friend sell it afterwards.
