Since only a handful were made, they are hard to find. Have you looked at the Oliver Forum?

Tony, less than 100 of the Olivers (both the large and small combined) are on the road, meaning there are very few of them made by comparison to others. Finding a used one will not be easy if possible at all and when they do come up for sale they are snapped up pretty quick. Good luck with your quest though. The last I heard new ones are about half a year out but check with the plant to be sure.

oliver legacy elite

Thanks for your response. Yes I realize that they were only made in 2007 and 2008 and are now making them again. I have been in touch with Oliver and yes 1/2 year out. I have looked at everything out there and do believe that these are the absolute best unit out there, even better than a Airstream which I wasn't 100% impress with. One issue is I have never seen one in person so I am reaching out to anyone in NW that has one so I can view. With the Dollar exchange in Canada, I better see one before before I bite the $60000.00 price tag in Canadian funds on a new one.

Hi,

It just so happens, I got a call from Robert Partee with morning about your interest in a used Oliver Elite since he knew we were about to put our unit up for sale. Ours is an "08" and was actually owned by one of the Oliver brothers. Because of health reasons, we are selling it with a sad heart. If you are interested, PM me and I will give you more information. We are headed out of town until the 21st, so if you don't hear back from me right away, I am out of internet coverage.

Our plan was to put it up to sale sometime in late July, early August.

Karen

Just to satisfy my curiosity… according to the Oliver website, the new Elite is 18.5' long. The original is listed as 17' by owners. Did it grow?

Probably the difference between the bumper to hitch vs the measurements for the cabin alone. Also for the longest the Elite II's were labeled or defined as 22' while in actuality they are 23' 6" from bumper to hitch with a 17' cabin length ± an inch. It would be very costly to reinvent the molds to add another 1.5 feet.
