Yes, our tow vehicle is a Nissan crew cab, 6 cyl, 2 wheel drive. Getting about 17 mpg at highway speed. Tows like a dream.

We are looking to sell in March, after we return from Florida. We live in south central PA.

Dave, replied to your message. Thank you for your interest.

We tow ours with a 3.0L V6 Ford Ranger. Gas mileage a little lower, around 16-17MPG while towing a 60MPH on routes that aren't too hilly.

We tow ours with a 2012 Colorado 4x4 with the I-5 cylinder it has a
242-hp, 3.7-liter with a 4-speed automatic w/OD. Pulls like a dream. We don't have the Deluxe so our weight is a lot less. That's something to consider.

Looking for an Egg-Camper near TX. My husband is 6'4" and this will keep us both happy. Prefer the layout with the bunks on one end for the sweetest grandkids in the world

Karen, I'd recommend starting a new thread in the "Wanted" section, since this thread is about someone looking for a Scamp 5th wheel. You can do that from the app by choosing "Browse" and going to "Marketplace" and the "Wanted" section. Then tap the three dots in the upper right corner and choose "New Topic." Include "EggCamper" in the subject line.

In my experience, EggCampers don't come up too often, so you may have to be prepared to travel. I assume you are also following this site: Molded Fiberglass Trailers | Fiberglass RV's For Sale

BTW… I've never seen an EggCamper with bunks on the end. Every one I've seen has had a front bath and side dinette, along with the usual rear dinette. The side dinette might make into bunks, but I've never seen a picture of one set up that way. Have you asked the factory about the bunks?

Good luck in your Egg hunt!

Ellen, Any chance that you'll be stopping by the Scamp Camp in Sebring FL in Feb? It runs from Feb 9-14 at Highlands Hammock state park.

If you go to Scamp's website and look at the plan for the 2014 19' standard (not deluxe), you'll find it. There's only one floor plan, and, as far as I know, it's the only one Scamp has ever used in the 19' standard model. Cabinetry is mostly shared with the 16' layout 4.

I might be able to convince the wife to sell our 2001 Scamp 5th wheel 19' It has oak cabinetry and has been lifted 3". I tow it with my 2005 Tundra. I replaced the heater motor and everything works. I am located just North of San Francisco. Also has new decals I even put the stripe on the door. If your interested let me know.
