Wasn't there a report or rumor a while back that the people who own the name and assests were going to resurrect the company?

We've heard this at least a half dozen times. If anyone is waiting for Burro to be resurrected to purchase a trailer, it may be a veeeeerrrry long wait.

See this topic for more info: Burro Trailer Company, which includes history, etc.

The molds are in a shed in my back yard. I'm waiting until the pressure to resurrect the Burro becomes even more intense, but because I'm too old to start a new business I'll probably sell the rights and the molds.

The last offer I had was just over $3.7 million, but obviously this is not enough. Maybe Oliver will eventually buy them and rip them apart to avoid the (double-hulled) competition.

Wait, wait........ it's April 5th already, isn't it? I'm about 4 days late. The story of my life, I guess. My apologies to those who had their hopes lifted, only to have them dashed 2 seconds later. Inexcusable.

Sorry, But the real story is, the molds were shipped to Cuba in order to avoid seizure by IRS.
On my last trip there, I managed to smuggle one out and I have it for sale in Ft Lauderdale.

On a serious note, I DO know where the molds are for the Sac City Burros (or at least I did know a couple of years ago)! And they ARE for sale; however, to my knowledge no one has bought them, and the current owner didn't plan to return to production last I knew.

Doug, I have a very well-known, lightly-used bridge for sale. Interested in a trade?!
