Thanks! After doing some more research, I see how lucky I really was to find one in such good structural condition. Sounds like the floors can be a disaster.

Here is last night's progress:

I liked this light housing, but it was 110 and I wanted to run it without having to have shore power or the generator going. I gutted the 110 light housing and a 12v RV porch light and made this.

I installed the sink.

And last, I sewed some of the curtains. (Yes, the dowel will be replaced with nice rods. )

Yes, the floors while sandwiched between fiberglass, which would lead you to think it would hold up better but I am wondering if the moisture doesnt get trapped betweeen the fiberglass sandwich causing the rot?

The 72 Boler I got this week has a plywood floor no fiberglass sandwich and it is still really good condition.

IF I redo another Burro floor it will be with fiberglass sheets, a friend of mine is supposed to come over to my cabin this weekend and give me some sheets of fiberglass from where he works.

Rush,

Great job on the upgrades! Keep the updates coming.

Scott

This week's progress:

I polished all the windows with Maguire's Plast-X polish. This stuff is awesome.
I also used it on my '66 GlassPar boat I restored last year. The original TaylorMade windshield looked like it had been soaking in milk for the last 40 years. I polished it up and it looks just like new; crystal clear! Lots of elbow-grease, but well worth it.

(The left window, and top half of the center window polished to show before & after)

The cabinet doors I made. I used T&G pine as the insert to match the ceiling.

Thanks.
I haven't ordered them yet, but I will when I get back home for lunch. I think they will make a huge difference. Thanks again for the link.
