Hi All, I'm in search of a 13' "egg". (I'm not terribly picky about the brand, but I really like the U-Haul CT13, and don't care much for Trillium.) I've checked most of the usual places, so maybe someone has, or knows someone who has one for sale.

If it needs some work, that's ok by me, as long as the price is relative. The shell, floor and axle, etc need to be structurally sound and in working order, as I don't have the expertise to replace them. (It's ok if it needs paint)
I really love the look of these nifty trailers.

I'm in Duluth MN, but I'm willing to travel within reason.

My budget is an absolute max of $3000. Have cash today.

Thanks so much, everyone.

Rush

Thanks Kevin. I think I've already worn out their search engine over the past few months.
I read the "How to search" thread and found some valuable info in there, too.
I'm just sort of hoping someone might have a line on something that's not listed on the internet.

I found a 78 burro locally. It was being used as a seasonal camp spot on some wooded property about 50 miles from my home. I miraclously found the listing less than an hour after it was posted. I told him I'd take it. Sight unseen ( besides the pics in the ad). He said he'd already gotten several calls on it but no one would set a time to view it. I suspect the remote location had something to do with that.
Anyhow, it's nice & best of all, it's mine!

Congratulations!

You found what you were looking for 3 days after posting, and 50 miles from home to boot!
Some guys have all the luck.

If you're still looking, I'm in Missouri and have a 13' Boler (1977) that needs complete restoration. The axle and fiberglass shell seem solid. It has a new spare tire. I'm asking $1000 OBO. If you're interested and would like photos, you can email me at my daughter's email address at sunnybabi1986[at]yahoo.com.

Thanks guys. I have been doing a lot of work on the Burro.
Scott has it right, those are the pics that were in the ad.

Here are a few recent ones:

When I got it home:

Puck lights with dimmer installed

Quarter-round installed

Installing the T&G ceiling

Countertop:

Cabinet door I made (and the old one. Pardon the filthy carpet; it's in the garage )

Rush,

That is a nice burro and great additions you are making! The ceiling and the countertop are great.

Keep the updates coming.

Scott
