I am looking for a 13' molded fiberglass trailer in need of repair. My daughter wants to start taking her kids camping. I rebuilt my Love Bug a couple of years ago and she loves it. I can't afford much, but I am pretty good with tools so a fixer upper is needed. If you know where there is a 13' FGRV sitting in the weeds in need of rescue, please e-mail or PM me.
My grandkids and daughter would be thrilled.

There was a Puck in Cedaredge Colorado a couple years ago. I'll check it out when I visit that area next week.

Is that too far of a distance for you?

The distance that I would travel depends entirely on the price of the trailer and conditiion. I went from Wisconsin to Harpers Ferry to get my Love Bug (gas prices where alot lower though.) Let me know how much they want please.

It there a picture of a PUCK that someone can find? I looked in the ALBUM section and did not see one.

It's because it's NOT molded fiberglass...okay so the roof is, but the sides are aluminum. Here's a pic nonetheless from the For Sale forum: Eriba Puck For Sale, Located in Olympia, WA

It looks promising but is a little more money than I afford. Thanks for looking.

Bob, There is this guy in Louisville that I know has 3 - 13ft Uhauls. He wants $2500 for each, but there is no way anyone is going to pay that for the shape they are in. He is on Ebay as well as his phone number. He is trying to sell a bunch of campers in his yard besides the ones listed above. He needs money for his wedding - getting married this Sat. I would call him after the 26th and see what you can offer him for one. My husband and I are looking for one also. We went over to check out the ones he had listed on Ebay and found out he had another one also. He will sell all of them. The 2 white ones both have either repair issues on items missing. The camo one is in the best shape but is uglier than sin. You would need a complete paint job just to get it back to white. My husband and I are also waiting until after his wedding to see if the price will go down. The white one he has on ebay is only at $500 right now and it ends on Sat.
Have you fixed one up before? Let me know, and you can give us some pointers. WE are new to fiberglass trailers. We have had a popup and 23ft hybrid, but have downsized to a tent and want to get into a fiberglass.

I rebuild my Love Bug from the ground up. I purchased it knowing that it was a total wreck. the window, door, cabinets were laying on the floor. The poor thing had been painted with latex paint using a roller, the floor was rotten, the axle needed replacment, and the inside was covered with mildew.
Send me an PM or e-mail and I will give you some pointers.

Can you get me this guys phone number or send me some photos of the trailers? I would be interested in seeing what he has. I drove from Baraboo, WI to Harpers Ferry, WV to pick up my wreck, of course, gas was only $190 at the time.

Hi, are you still looking? We are getting ready to sell our '78 13' Boler but haven't settled on a price yet. We are fairly close to your location.

We have decided tonight to put up forsale our 1981 13ft burro. This is in the project stage with roof vent removed (leaked around it) and both side windows removed (leaked (both side windows included)). Rear window as one crack in the pane. Have all cushions and rear table top. Has gas furnace and 2 burner gas top range (both work). Pump sink and water tank (I would replace the lines and tank). This has been sitting in Michigan it's entire life and we rescued it from negletful owners. The outside does have some areas where the the outside shell has flaked/ cracked out and need filling then a good paint job. Frame is rock solid and the unit has less than 300 beleived road miles it's entire life. Has original spare and vynil tire cover with logo (I beleive it may even have original tires on it/ hold air but are weather checked). One small crack in the fiberglass above the right wheel well and a couple small stress cracks on the bench seat inside. Carpet was removed for cleaning as well as cupboard doors. This is a non insulated burro. Located in west michigan between grand rapids and holland. Finish it the way you want it to look. This is as honest as a description as you will get.

$2000.00 OBO.

Kevin
