Welcome to the group Kari
You will find lots of help hereabouts. Be sure to ask lots of questions as you join the world of molded fiberglass RV's.
A couple of questions for you:
Have you been inside a 13' Scamp
with bath? They become very small inside with the addition of the bath. We sold ours and bought a 13' Bigfoot
w/o a bath for that very reason. Because there isn't any additional seating you wind up having to make and unmake the bed every day, which can be a real pain. Try to see one early on before you eliminate those without the bath.
Also, while those with the bathroom are scarce, those that also have the shower option (they were two separate options) are even rarer and harder to find.
You shoul d also know that the 13' front bath Scamp
is a bit on the heavy side, esp on tongue weight
, and you bring up the next question: What will you be towing with?
Just a couple more to help out:
Scamps have been around for 40 some years, what age range are you willing to accept.
What condition do you need and how much "Fixing" can you do?
And what is your approximate budget range?
