Rental of Fiberglass Camper

Is it something I said? Is there no information on renting in New England?

You may want to try posting again with a title that reads something along the lines of "Wanting to Rent a trailer in New England" - that may or may not get you a better response - most of us are pretty protective of our eggs though! suspect some may seeing the thread title as it is now an assuming you are looking to buy and not opening it.

Also keep in mind it is a week-day and a lot of folks are still and work and not reading the list.

Well, dont know if you plan on traveling with the Egg but if you're headed near Atlanta, GA there is an outfit there called "Small Trailers at Large" and then rent a Scamp, Teardrop and an A-liner I think it is. Not sure how soon till Randy Bishop gets his rental fleet ready but he is in AL I think.

In order to have it show up with the new title I think you are going to have to do it so that it is a whole new thread rather than just change the subject in your last post.

There are rentals out there...

Thanks Melissa B. for that lead.
That is a wonderful site that I wished existed in New England. Atlanta's a bit far though. Makes me think I may start another sideline and most of the campers here are poptop and with mosquitoes and the weather, a fiberglass camper is a great solution for all season camping. Thats why we bought our Bigfoot 17 and used it when we lived in Vancouver, BC. Traveled throughout the US including Louisiana after living there and losing house in Katrina. We lived in that Bigfoot for a few weeks.

I had heard that there was a similar company in Ontario that rented eggs.

I've seen popups for rent on craigslist, but they may just set it up somewhere for you.

There is not much information on renting ANY Molded Fiberglass trailers ... anywhere. The only national outfit that ever rented molded fiberglass travel trailers was UHaul, and they exited the market in the mid 1980's.

There have been several small regional "mom & pop" businesses that bought 10 or fewer trailers to rent out that existed in different isolated locations. The majority of them have gone out-of-business. The downside risk has just been too great for the business model to be viable...

If you ask a question and do not get a response, then the answer you want might not exist.

If you are talking about the company that rented bolers, I believe they shut down and sold off their trailers. They were out near Cambridge, ON.
