Smile Wanted Trillium 4500 in Good Condition

Hi All,
We are looking for a Trillium 4500 for our young family. We are located in Alberta, but willing to drive to surrounding provinces/States for the right trailer. Must be in good to excellent condition as we don't have time for a fixer upper right now! Please contact me if you have one you are selling. Thanks!

I know you indicated at 4500 but there is a 5500 listed in the sale section thats really worth looking at - it just came up for sale & it is a really nice trailer in great shape.

5500

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply on helping us with our search! I think the 5500 is too heavy as our wagon is rated to pull around 2,000 lbs. Too bad, that's a real nice looking unit. If anyone knows further if we could pull that one, we'd be interested. I'm just going on what our manual says.

Check out this site. They list a variety of FGRVs. They may take a while to get posted up here so I recommend using a google multi search tool, you can search multiple locations at once and can also get notifications. Use kijjii as well. You'll find the good ones go very fast.

There is a buyers check list somewhere on this site (help section?) that I found useful.

Good luck
Mark

In the Document Center, download it, print it and take it every time you look at a trailer: Buyers Check List

Sad but true it would be a bit to heavy for your wagon.

You should know that the 4500 from Trillium RV is specified as 1700lb dry. No cargo, food, options, propane, battery, .... You may be too heavy even with a 4500. But, going 500lb over weight is probably not uncommon.

I recently had my trailer modified at Trillium Outback for 3000 lb GVW. My tow vehicle is capable of towing 5000lb.

Thanks David. Good feedback. I suppose it depends on which 4500. Some people have them rated at 1400lbs dry weight. I will look into that further.
