WTB: 13' Trailer, WA/OR

Been looking for a bit with not much luck. I am near Portland, Oregon and willing to travel some. I want a 13' with rear dinette bed and forward bunks for children. Open to any light weight trailer in good condition (ready to camp, no strange smell), Scamp, Boler, Trillium, Burro, Uhaul.... not picky as long as it fits the bill.

Best contact is JBjuniorHorse (at) yahoo.com

Why don't you add in a bit more info and you might get more replies:
How much, if any, repair/improvement work can you do.
What features are a "Must Have? A/C etc.
How old/big are the children, most front bunks are small and have weight limits on the upper bunk
How far can you travel to inspect/pick-up
What is you approximate price range.
What will you be towing with.

Good luck in your hunt.

Thanks Bob,

I purposely left it more open, because I am open. I can do all work required, but since I am looking for something ready to camp it has to be road ready and water tight, not looking for a project at this time. I am willing to add stuff as needed, if it is road ready and livable at this point, which leads to the features question. For me, that is a safe trailer that isn't moldy, smelly or have any other living issues.

No must have features, furnace would be nice, no need for AC. I can make improvements as desired.

I understand the size/weight restrictions on the bunks, my children are very young.

Price range depends on the unit itself, up to and including a brand new one.

I am looking in the Oregon/Washington area so open to travel within those states (BC, Canada also for the right trailer). Inspect is obviously the larger issue which is why I am here, not willing to travel very far for something not as described.

I will be towing with my smaller diesel SUV so that is why I am looking specifically for a 13'.

Trailer: 2006 Trillium Outback

We have a 2006 Trillium Outback (brochure says frame size 14' 2", but basically the same as any 13') that we purchased new and we are getting ready to sell (so we have not posted it for sale yet). The trailer is located in Newberg, Oregon.

It is in great shape, and includes the front bunks, a furnace (which heats very quickly!), a bike rack for 2 bicycles,a fantastic fan for cooling, and electric brakes. We are planning on getting a new battery for it. The only thing that does not work anymore is the refrigerator. We have been using it as an ice box to store cold things, which has worked quite well.

It weighs 1395 lbs, and we towed it easily for quite a while with a Subaru Outback (we now tow it with a Honda Pilot). I am considering asking $9,000 for it.

Let me know if you are interested. This week is really busy, but probably could be available next week to show it.

Hello, I'm in Oregon City and am selling my 13 foot 1980 Burro. Perfect for kids as we fortified the bunk beds. Please drop me a note if you'd like to see it.
