I've been without a camper for a couple of years and it's time to change that! Been doing my reading and a small fiberglass rig looks like it would be perfect. My tow vehicle is a Honda CR-V; the maximum weight
of trailer and contents can't be more than 1500 lbs. So something pretty little! It's just me and the dog, and the occasional grandchild. A 13 (or so) footer is just what the doctor ordered.
I'm somewhat handy, so if I find a good camper that needs some paint
, refinishing wood, flooring, small repairs on the outside, etc. I could handle that. Probably am not up to major work, either doing it myself or paying for it to be done.
Can't really afford a new one; if the ads I've been reading are any indication I should be able to get what I'm looking for for $6K or under. I live in the Pacific Northwest -- am willing to drive a ways for the right one. Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, maybe the southwest states, western Canada, like that.
