WTB Scamp, Burro, Casita, LoveBug

We are looking to buy a small fiberglass trailer in good shape, so that we can travel to visit the grandkids and the elderly parents and bring our dogs with us. A vacation is not a vacation if we can't have the furkids with us, and we would rather stay with them in our own small trailer than rent rooms without them.
We are located in North Georgia, but will travel to pick up the trailer if needed.

You might want to add some more information about what you are looking for: i.e.
Turnkey condition, a fixer, how much work you can/want to do, approximate acceptable age range etc, as well as your approximate budget.

Keep in mind that most might need at least some work, but those from list members are apt to be better kept than those from open ads.

Best bet is to always buy the best one you can afford. Fixing things can get expensive very fast.

BTW: What will you be towing with?

Thanks, Bob. I will work on more detail for my ad. We have two vehicles to pull with, a Ford 150 or my Toyota Rav 4. I had a LoveBug 25 years ago, and absolutely LOVED it.

Jean, Good luck on the search

Your old LoveBug from 25yo is very likely still out camping and making memories for some one. These little guys are like the energizer bunny. They just keep on going!

Hi Pam

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same thing! I am in the same area that I sold it in, 25 years ago, and I keep looking around to see if I can find it. Wouldn't that be a trip!

The 13 ft Burro is sold

I posted on 3/4/14 that I had a 13 ft Burro for sale on Craigslist Des Moines.
It sold to first person that looked at it. 4 other people interested and waiting to look at it. Seems just not enough of these older molded units to meet the growing demand.
