Amazon. 280 lumen 1256/1141 led bulbs.

Just saw this on amazon and bought them for my trailer. Best price I've seen on that many lumens.

Stupid question: Will these fit a Trillium 4500 stock light fixture?

If it uses an 1156 or 1142 base bulb, it should.

Those are a lot of lumens, my pancake style bulbs are 170 lumens compared to 280 lumens on these. Is it possible to have too many lumens? Being round in shape I suppose some light is lost depending on the fixture you are using.

Give a report after you have them installed.

One can never have enough lumens! One of the big complaints I often hear from people who make the switch over using replacement LED bulbs is that they are not bright enough. I always look for something with at least 200.

LED Trillium 1300

Hello,

I put similar ones in my Trill. They are not quite as bright
as 1141s but only draw 20% as much as they do... 0.16A
or about 2W.

Mine came directly from China via Ebay costing $35 for 10.

I have a few 320 lumen ones now, and they're brighter than the standard bulbs. These should be about the same brightness or a little more.

I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I haven't seen cheap ones that are very bright. All the ones I've seen are about half the lumens of these.

These draw 3.29 watts and are probably more efficient to start with, much brighter.

I've bought cheap LEDs from 4 sources, and have thrown them all away, due to them being dim. They may work for some people, but not me.

Amazon. 280 lumen 1256/1141 led bulbs.

Incandescent bulb facing down, led is sideways. The picture doesn't do it justice. The led's are a fair amount brighter, and whiter.

I have purchased 40 of these for Rv use. They are perfect, come from China on a "slow boat". They ship worldwide. Ten bulbs were $21.79 delivered.

Search for:

or:

Happy RVing,

LED Lumens

Hello,

I believe the SMD 5050 LEDs emit 15>20 lumens each
so the bulbs I suggested with 24 LEDs should put out
somewhere between 300 and 500 lumens? They seem
plenty bright especially in double bulb fixtures.

I was in Georgia recently. I had them delivered to my contact at the destination.

I'm not sure what I was expecting. They have comparable light output to the incandescent version they replace. Maybe a bit less. Perhaps my converter is not putting out a high enough voltage.

They put out plenty of light for the application. The low power consumption rocks.

I just rec'd 3 of them today in the mail. I was expecting something a little larger, and haven't tried them out (no trailer until July 1st), but I hope to report a positive experience with them in the future.
