Amber Reflector for Trillum
Hello,
I am in need of the amber reflector that goes in the molded spots in the front and rear corners just below the belly band of the Trillium. I have the red ones for the rear but only have one of the amber ones for the front. The numbers on them say 71-da6031 on the top and SAE-A-71 on the bottom. There is also a picture of a maple leaf between the da and the 6031 in the top numbers. I have attached a photo of the one I need. If you have one I would be interested in obtaining it. Thanks.

years ago you could tell the year of the automobile by these numbers on the tail lights, with 6031 being the p/n and 71 being the first year in use. You can probably find a replacement in any auto parts store, they have a selection of self adhesive amber and red reflectors in various sizes.

Good luck finding the exact replacement reflector. I looked at all the local auto stores and on line and finally gave up and bought some at a local Auto Zone that are the correct width but too long and made to both screw and self stick in place. I cut them to the correct length which removed the screw holes. Maybe you will have better luck than I had.

Any truck stop, but it may be hard to find the exact same thing.

Rodre,
Sorry...I didn't see this post earlier. I searched for many months and finally found some that I think shipped from Europe (I'll have to do some digging to get the part number). I remember that they were back ordered and took a long time to get here. I had to buy them by the box, so I have extras.
Anyway, they fit in the molded area of the Trillium and have adhesive on the back of them. They are the same size as the ones that were on my Trillium when we got it. I have both red (~14 of them) and yellow (~34 of them) that I'd love to see go to other Trillium owners who need them. Does $1 each + S&H sound reasonable?

Hi Isaac,
Were they the exact same ones? In any case I would be interested in some. Please PM me and let me know how we can dance. Thanks.

Does anybody have a picture of where they are on the trailer? I don't seem to have any on my 4500.

The are not on a 4500. They are just below the belly band on 1300's only. Red on the back, amber on the front. I have both amber reflectors and no red ones.

Thanks Dave,
I think I'll have to start looking at the Trilliums as close as I did with the bolers. I'm preferring the construction of the former over the latter.

I found the one original reflector that I had and took a picture of the replacement reflectors today. They are shaped slightly differently (rectangle rather than a curved end) and are 1/16" shorter and 1/16" wider, but they do fit on the reflector area of the Trillium (which is what I was looking for). If you are interested in them, please PM me.
They are made by HELLA in Finland, part numbers 8RA 004.412-001 (amber) and 8RA 004.412-021 (red).

I have found a local source for the Trillium 1300 front and back reflectors. They measure 2 3/4" x 1 9/32".
1 9/32" is 1/32" greater then 1 1/4".
These are the Hella brand and model # that Isaac mentioned in his previous post.
Only $1.45 ea. plus shipping!
Amazon wants $8.00 for the red and $5.plus for the amber.
I measured and they may be a tad large, but, I don't think you will find anything closer without altering a different reflector.
Red: Hella - 4412 Reflex Reflector 004412021 -
Amber: Hella - 4412 Reflex Reflector 004412001 -
Happy Shopping!
