I asked the same question recently. I have not found a supplier or an alternative.

A little pricey but here you go....... 2 options...

1. Re-build kit........Bargman L400 RV Door Handle Lock Repair kit 4 Vintage RV Trailer Airstream L-400 | eBay

2. Brand New Lockset..........Bargman L400 lock Never Installed | eBay

Thanks for the pointers. I will likely buy a new entry mechanism for well under half of this cost (!) and rebuild the opening

Yikes . Pricey little item . These key cylinders and door assembly must be gold plated and from the Egyptian pyramid tomb .Some of these door handles go for 500.oo dollars . Maybe I will remodel the door handle hole for a modern door handle . I am going to be patient and wait to see what is out there for a little longer . Maybe I can find a lock cylinder that is compatible out there somewhere.

I took the Bargman L 400 to locksmith again . The inside housing hole for the cylinder key shaft is worn out real bad that any key will unlock the door plus he said it couldn't be fixed or rectro fitted .

So I gave up and I fitted a Trimark Black number 46212 door handle -- cost $53.95 before tax Cnd . I made sure the bolt lock was in line with existing plate on the trailer before marking and cutting out hole with jig saw to fit . I used an aluminum kick plate from a lock smith . I cut the plate to fit with mitre saw to cover existing hole . Works excellent when finished .

Nice job! When mine dies, I will probably follow your lead.

Is the old lock going in the trash?

I am going to hang on to the old handle for now haven't decided what to do yet . Either I will restore it or sell it .

I painted the metal plate on the new set up to match the trailer to blend in .The handle has a gasket so the plate sits nicely tucked under the door handle lip about an 1/8 of an inch.
