Yes, an easy option is to fashion your own, unless you are dead set on having the originals.

Home Hardware has 5 foot aluminum shower rod kit for $6.64 reg $9.49 item #3266-101 it has the brackets that you can use to mount the bed posts to the bottom bench. For extra strength put a wooden dowel inside,that way the dowel won't warp and no splinters.
