Door for my Hunter Compact II

Hi. Looking for an exterior door for my Hunter Compact II. The opening measures 55 3/4" x 23 3/4". Let me know if you have something that'll work.
Thanks, Cheri

door replacement

I have a 1971 havasu' last year I searched high and low for a door, could not find. so I made one sandwiched panels of frp from lowes with 1" 2x4's in between, then put aluminum channel around the perimeter. I'll try to post pictures, but that might be a bigger chore than making the door? anyway thats maybe an alternative, my havasu is pretty much the same door as yours good luck

Try contacting this company and see if they can do anything for you in the way of a door to fit. They specialize in doors for RVs and other trailers. They will have the right width but it will be the height that is the issue but perhaps they can make that happen for you. You would want to think about having it pre-hung with weatherstripping in a frame and with the hinges already installed. That way you would take out the old frame and install the new unit.

I see you're in California. Have you tried RV Doctor George in Sacramento?

I'm about to rebuild mine, had planned to dismantle it this coming weekend. If you like, I can take a bunch of photos and measurements along the way, so that you can replicate it if you want to build one.

All right, life intruded and I didn't get to it last weekend, but I should tear into it in the next few days. I will take photos and measurements and put up a thread showing what I do.

You don't say where you live, but check for local RV salvage yards.
The door on your camper is likely a common production item on stick builts . As we all know there are plenty of them being junked regularly.
