Hi Scotty...you're trailer looks amazing!

If you don't mind my asking, what did you end up paying to have the trailer and frame painted (including door repair)?

Thanks,
-Isaac

Hi Isaac... Including taxes it came out to approximately $3400. Now that I've had it done, it was worth every penny to me!

Hmmm... I'm going to have to call these people again. Here it is 2 months later, and the hinges haven't shown up! NOT IMPRESSED! <_<

Just realized that I didn't follow up on this... Here it is, February 1st, 2015, and still no hinges! Had to do lots of digging to confirm that I had actually been billed for the hinges - I have! So will be calling them tomorrow and asking where are my hinges or give me a refund!!! $186.90 prepaid in good faith is not chicken feed!

That is ridculous.
I ordered one from McMaster Carr, it was back ordered and took a couple of weeks but otherwise no issues. It was $63.62 US including shipping for one hinge but that was shipped to the States.
Love the paint job on your trailer.

If you have it, the part number thru McMaster Carr would be much appreciated!

Thanks Kootenai girl! We're very happy with how our trailer turned out!
As for the hinges, I knew going in that there were less expensive alternatives, but these were the only ones that promised me I could have them as quickly as possible and shipped directly to me. I was willing to pay the extra for the convenience and for having new hinges on the trailer. So far, no convenience and no hinges. I'll be calling them today and insisting on a refund. The originals seem to be holding up fine since the trailer was redone. It was probably needing the mounting holes repaired. Wish me luck!

I used to order quite a bit from McMaster Carr in LA for the company I retired from. If I called it in by 10 am (San Diego) I had it in my hand by 3pm the same day.....holy cow, they were fast.

Plan B

If you find the 3/8" offset it no longer available an alternate is to use the zero offset (flush mount) version of the hinge and a spacer. We had a member do this with good results. I cant find the thread but i think he used plexiglass for the spacer?? Raz

I don't know if this will help anyone, but McMaster-Carr sells these hinges. Look at the bottom of this page for the different offsets: McMaster-Carr
