Fiberglass Wrap Around Shelf for Trillium
I am in need of a fiberglass wrap around shelf for the rear of my Trillium above the dinnette. My Trillium is the beige color and is a '78. If anyone is parting one out, or changing their shelving I would be interested in the shelf. I think the front and the back are the same. Thanks.

I just talked to Jo at Outback / Trillium. He can make a front one for $150, but he doesn't have moulds for the rear one.

I really want a vintage one so that the color matches what I have in there now. I was previously told the others would be white and I would have to paint them if I wanted the color to match. There has to be one somewhere and I am not afraid of shipping.

I've got a front one from a 1980 standard colour. You can have it for . . .a 12 pack of any micro-brewery lager or pale ale! I live in the Fraser Valley.

Ken,
I recently purchased the front and back shelves from a couple that were pulling theirs out. I had to ask why? I guess the hubby felt a bit claustrophobic with them.
So, just out of curiosity, (cause I already have mine) why do you want to remove yours?

Hi David,
Do the dimensions of the front one vs. the rear one differ? I deperatly need the rear one so I have something to hang my blinds from.

The sides on the rear shelves are considerably longer than the sides on the front unit.
In this picture the rear one is in front, the front is behind. These are from a 1300.
And no you can't have mine!

Wrap around front shelf
Joe installed a new front window, and the install was a little rough around the edges, so I removed the front shelf, which was not very secure- anything on there ended up on the floor after a couple of hours driving- and designed a vertical book rack which is secure and hides the unattractive aspects of the new window install. I will eventually build a little corner shelf on each side. . .one of these days. . .

Rod, the colour of gelcoat does not change on setting. If you really want a match buy some gelcoat, get a local boat repair to match the colour and send it off to Alberta for them to make you a new rear shelf.
What about Reace? Was he not producing the Trillium for Tom a few years back? I thought that had a rear FG shelf.

The shelf I had was for the front, it was in sad shape, with so many different mounting holes both to mount the shelf and to mount lights etc under it that it looked like it had been hit with a shotgun. I couldn't accept any payment of any kind, I decided. It was also an unattractive baby poop yellow; a guy came by a few days ago and took it away, which made my wife happy.

Rod, as was suggested your best bet is to give Reace at Escape trailers a call to see if he has an ideas for you or try giving Trillium Trailers in Calgary a call. Dont see one on their parts page but if wouldnt hurt to ask them. They do sell little cubby hatches for the corners - one could use a couple of those and build a custom shelf which could be mounted to/between them.

Good suggestion Carol, but IIRC Rod is a purist when it comes to his trailer.

I talked to Jo Thoen at Outback / Trillium. He has the moulds for the front shelf, but not the back.
