Free Dometic 211 three-way fridge in Toronto

Time to clean out from our clean-up. Original Dometic RM-211TF three-way fridge from 1978 Boler 1300. Mild surface rust on base; not sure how well/if it works--inline fuse blown, and not used for years. Free to pick up in East York. If I can't find it a home, all that retro funkiness is bound for the garbage.

Brad, I may be interested in your frig. I don't know if it would work in place of the one I have now....I'll have to find some info re. the size, etc. So if you don't find a home for it, I could pick it up on my way home from Eggfest in May.

If you decide you want to be rid it, I'd love to buy a few pieces off it before you do! The front strip with the model name on the front (or the whole front door really) and the brown freezer element cover would be great.

Let me know either way - thanks, Jason

I don't think you will have a hard time finding someone who wants your fridge. They are in many trailers. I am a big fan of spares, (I have two spare RM211's).

Noreen, According to the data sheet you posted on the "Serial numbers on a Trillium" thread, you have an RM360. According to this link:
http://www.thetford.com/Portals/0/PD...Chart_2012.pdf
It is the same size as my RM36. Much bigger then an RM211. This would fit in a 1977 4500, or any Trillium 1300.

Where are you at out west? I have one (rm211) out of an 84 Scamp 5er. Somebody wanted it but it still sits here so I'm getting rid of it.

So you think this would not be a good fit for my 4500, David?

Thanks for the interest, folks. Like any good party, it happens in the kitchen.

I've thought of gutting it myself, and converting it to dry storage, but the Boler itself is enough of a side project. I'd rather somebody would just pick it up and take it all away.

Noreen, Your fridge is 2.7 cu ft. The RM211 is 1.7 cu ft. With wood work, you could make it work, but you would loose a lot of space. The fridge in my 1978 4500 is an RM36. I see them in other trailers often, I found a working one at the wreckers for $25.
Below is a list of suitable replacements for you.

Actually, if you are going to part it out, my bone yard unit is now missing:
-The shelves
-The cover over the electrical termination box
-The cover over the electric heater element
-The door latch pieces

Let me know what I owe you for shipping to T2C 0E8.
