Fridge vents

Uppers and Lowers - seem to be all Dometic brand - look a lot like what's on my Boler and on my son's Surfside. All brand new in boxes. No idea of prices and exact sizes- you'll have to deal with him on it .

Neighbour ("neighbor" in US) is cleaning out some "stuff"

I can put you in touch with him

His name is Doug Wagner. He is my next-door neighbour. He is having a bit of an issue right now as he had hired a tree faller to take down a few 150 foot Douglas Firs in his yard and the tree faller had a major "Oops" and got killed right there in Doug's yard last Thursday. Since my family & I watched it happen we are all getting repeatedly interviewed by coroner, police, rescue services, workers comp and a few others I had never even heard of. Doug's wife is NOT handling things well, and......

I will confirm with him that he is up to taking calls and then I'll send you his number

Oh my! That's awful! I hope you and your family the best. I hope, in time, that you can put this behind you.

I was talking to Kim (Doug's wife) toady. She is still all rattled from the tragedy of a week plus ago, and he is relaxing in the mountains, getting his blood press down in prep for open heart surgery in a week's time.

She called him and he told me to figure out what the pieces are worth and..... (no pressure)

So - Now I'm gonna do an inventory of the RV parts he has got sitting there, and check some on-line prices, take some photos and .....

In terms of awnings, there is one for over a window and one that may be suitable for a 13 footer, if you can use one with STRAIGHT (not curved) legs.

Material is maroon. Brand new, never installed.

There are also a lot of brand new - in the box- grilles for fridges (upper & lowers) plus a couple of water-heater covers.

More details after I do the inventory

Ok - I saw Doug today - which surprised me - he was to go in for open heart surgery today - before his surgeon was in an accident! (He has NO luck whatsoever!)

Anyway - he has a whole box of about 20-25 of the metal fridge grilles - uppers and lowers for eggs.

Anyone have any idea what they are worth? He tasked me with "sell them", and said he has NO idea what they are worth either

We sorta agreed that between half & a third of what a $tealership would charge is a good starting point if they are to go "by the each" and things are negotiable if someone wants the whole batch

Also has a couple of water heater covers, and a few other things as well

Dave,

Is there a way to get pictures and dimensions of the metal covers? I'm sure that many people willl be interested in them (including myself)

thanks,
-Isaac

Are these types of vents hard to get at your average RV store? I thought I could just go buy a new one, but now I'm worried I should be on the hunt for the Dometic variety mentioned here.
