Have an AC unit and want a window....

We have a 16ft 1983 Scamp and would like to put a window back in, instead of an Ac unit. The problem is, we don't have a window....

Buy some window gasket material and cut a piece of polycarbonate plastic to fit the opening size. This metod of sizing to fit the openig makes it easy togo back to having an AC in the future if you need to do that.

You need to indicate which window you need if you're looking for used window.
If you're looking for new, Measure it and call Scamp.

I may have a window FRAME for the old aluminum jalousie style side over the dinette window in a few weeks-you can buy the insides at vintage trailer...all depends on how it comes out. Otherwise, keep looking..it took me six months to find the one I bought, but they do appear!

Jaloudie side window

Hello zennifer, I saw your post about maybe having the frame for a jalousie side window. I have a 73 boler i have berends desperately trying to find an original jalousie side window for. Po removed it and put in a piece of plexi

while I would like an entire window I would be interested in your frame only if it is available and I would just have to rebuild myself. Drop me a pm or email at Mike.schoby@outdoorsg.com

Thanks

Thanks Jennifer,

I am looking for an aluminum window. All the other jalousie windows work, and I don't want a newer window. I'm also thinking maybe we should just take the AC unit out and just fiberglass and have no window.....Just so hard to make a decision. Good luck with all your upcoming work.

Sorry, don't know the terminology yet...looking for a dinette window, the same side as the door.

Thanks K C,

That would be an option I didn't think of, if we never find a window....

My fingers are crossed...
