Wanted: In Need of the exhaust fan for my uhaul!

I'm in need of the exhaust fan over the stove for my 85 uhaul. Almost all wired up and getting ready to her back together.

It has been awhile ago but I believe this is what I used and it works perfectly.
The motor is a little smaller than the original but comes with a mounting plate to use original screw holes. I also bought a new fan blade at the same time. Hope this helps...

Exactly how big is the motor? I'm thinking it might be a good replacement for the fan on my fridge.

It is only about 1 1/4" in dia and maybe 1 1/2" long, as I recall, but really is quite powerful and has reversible rotation by swapping the wires. Probably would work good on the fridge but would undoubtedly run much longer there so don't know how it would hold up. I believe it has low amperage draw so that would be good....

Thanks, mine is currently hooked up to a thermocouple, only comes on when the fins hits a certain temp. It does not run continuously.

their ebay store has several at reasonable prices. you may have to modify the discharge duct and build a damper but I can walk you through some of it.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Maybe something like this but I think it is only available in white almond or black? (almond would match UHaul color tho original vents were stainless) But, you would have to modify it with 12V motor and light bulb instead of the 110V. Hopefully a used one will turn up for you, which will be even better!

I removed the vent fan housing from our UHaul VT about a month ago because we were tired of hitting our heads on the edge when bending over the stove. The fan works fine but the light didn't work. It seems to be a simple wiring fix for the light and it may need a new switch knob. However, you can have our vent for free if you'll just cover the shipping. If you are interested, I'll check out the cost to ship. Send me a PM. (Of course, I have to check with my spouse, too, to make sure she doesn't want to hang on to it.)

I don't have the vent, fan or housing on mine and don't miss it at all. If I'm cooking I just crack the rooftop vent. I've never found that the fans really did much, for the amount of space they take up.
