Robin, maybe a picture might help. I have an idea of what your asking about, but your technical verbage is as bad as mine. Though I would have probably said, that do-hicky thing......

Anyway, Welcome to fiberglass rv..... Glad you joined us!

If what you are looking for is what I think it is, you might be able to get one thru Camping World... But there are other options as well. So pic's might help us get you to what your looking for.

If it is what I think it is ....

On some Boler 13's the water fill point bore some resemblance to a cast metal ashtray mounted on the side of the trailer, with a flip-up lid, held in place (when in closed) by a heavy wire bail that snapped into a slot. And would be that lid you are looking for?

Is that a sortofa/kindofa description?

Great pic Carol, I think that is exactly what Robin is looking for. I looked everywhere trying to find a picture of one, but every thing I found was plastic.......

There is one at this store on ebay for $199.

The shasta group suggests you can occasionally find them on ebay by using combinations of the following words: vintage Bargman water fill.

I initially could not find one at Vintage trailer supply, but they have them for $45
