I am looking for 1 or even 2 original Boler emblems. Not the stickers, the original cast aluminum ones. Please reply with price if you have them via pm, here, or at: redr2 at shaw dot ca

I have a shipping address in USA and Canada.

c'mon. Pry those ugly faded emblems off and send them to me. I will gladly pay for the set and will polish them up so they are oh so shiney.

Get some money to fix what matters,

My pic

Wow its nice to see the pic I took used on other peoples threads.

The guy I sent the pic to was going to have moulds made, I will see if he had it done yet and let you know how they turned out maybe he can get you a set made from the moulds.

Rick

That would be great. He could make a fortune off Ebay on those.

Huge thanks to fidgetboy (aka Jason) for sending me the emblems. I am searching out an aluminum foundry to have a bunch cast. They should shine up better than the old pot metal ones and should last longer. So far I have a quote at $20 per emblem. I will start a new thread once I get these going..... likely in the fall, but it will be done.

I figure alot of people will. I have had a quote on 5 sets (10 emblems) but thats in a form of pot metal.....I want them in aluminum for durability and the ability to have them polished, anodized or even powder coated......getting closer....

I do know that the early Bolers had nothing. My 1970 and other 1970's I have seen (my neighbour had an all original 1970) had nothing. Then the pot metal BOLER emblems were used until the late 70's or early 80's when the stickers were starting to get used.

I personally prefer the metal ones.

Interesting. My 1969 has decals at the front and rear above the windows. They are actually underneath a home done paint job that was done by the original owner at least a decade ago. The decals are cracked and splitting so I think they were old when he painted. Or perhaps the old paint is what caused the splitting. Will look into it further.
