rear storage box on Casita's

Hello,
Anyone know where you can purchase the rear storage box for the Casita's.
Looks kinda neat.

Do you have a rear bumper receiver? If so, check on line and you'll find all sorts of boxes starting around $350. walmart sells a metal rack for about $50 that plugs into a rear bumper receiver. Add your own boxes.

Our rear Bumper Box cost us $18 at Walmart, possibly another $12 to complete the installation. You can see it at 'Preparing a Scamp' in the modifications section.

Casita's have a flimsy rear bumper. Compared to a Scamp and Escape it is a major project. You have to weld supports onto the frame and then get a new bumper or use something different. for sewer hose. Then things can support the weight of a receiver hitch and box. Otherwise you risk things falling off.

Don,

The items I carry in my bumper box are not very heavy. I carry a hose, a 30 amp power cord, 4 wood blocks, a little plastic tool chest with the basics, and a hammer. Oops forgot the two poles that hold up my front rock shield.

Below the bumper box is a 5"x5"x 4' plastic fence post that contains my primary sewer hose and a rubber donut.

Below the fence post I carry 3 pieces of PVC pipe that create a rear clothes line.

It simply carries things that belong outside. As well it wraps around my spare tire.

I've never weighed it but I'm positive it's not excessive for any bumper.

I used to carry a second hose and filter and a 50' extension cord that I have moved to underneath boxes because they're rarely used.
