There is a difference between Duty and sales tax. The governments seem to have been putting a big push on collecting the latter. Even from non businesses.

They have to pay for those $85.00 glasses of orange juices somehow. Lately it has been senator expenses.

I am happy to report that I received the Oliver window cut out from Steve today.

Oliver really makes a strong, thick panel. Gelcoat/Fiberglass, another thin layer of what appears to be a white insulation material and an inner layer to seal it all in. More than enough for my repair.

Almost 1/4" thick as compared to the original 35 year old Trillium Gelcoat/Fiberglass at about 1/16" thick.

It's interesting to see how this thread wandered all over the highway from the original post, but still contained a lot of valuable information. Kinda like a trailer that needs more tongue weight!

It's what makes the Forum work. I know I have been guilty of wandering off topic many times!

Thanks again to all!

Too bad you couldn't get another street side logo. How are you going to deal with the remainder of the logo on your trailer?

Unfortunately, I'm probably going to sand it smooth.

I'm going to put a Nova Kool R2600 2.4 cu.ft. 12 volt frig in and it will still need ventilation. I have (2) 3" round vents with insect screen that I will put in at the top of what was the top vent hole. I have powder coated the old top fridge vent and will re-install it even though it will not be wholly functional. I think just round vents would look a little funky and too modern.

The bottom vent will be eliminated and I will wedge out the bottom of the opening to help accommodate the added depth of the new fridge which is 2" deeper than the old RM211.

At least that is the current plan.

My Nova Kool installation instructions shows how you can vent it inside the RV, so no outside vents are needed ....just food for thought.

If you vent it into the RV does that heat the RV or cool it?

David, I'm glad to hear that the fiberglass piece will be useful to you. With your Scamp now sporting a transplant from an Oliver has it become a Scoliver or perhaps an Olivamp?

Let me know if I can help further.

It's actually a Trillium so maybe its a Trilliver or an Olivium
