Glen -- do you know if this would work in a 1977 Boler? If so I'm interested

Thanks!
Lise

This tap will work fine if you have a single cold water supply. If you don't have a hot water heater this will work great.

also I will be out of contact till Mon.

Hi Glen,
It's a long shot, but do you still have the faucet and if so what is the diameter of the threaded intake?
Thanks,
Bob

Those taps are readily available at Home Depot or Loews and are not that expensive just ask for water filter replacement taps.

Glen who posted the faucet has not been back to the forum since 2016.

However cold water only faucets are not too hard to come by.
One source of them is to search for a "bar faucet cold water only", that will bring in the ones from the suppliers for use in buildings.

You can also find them on RV and marine supply sites. Prices start around $30.00 and on up to over $100 for the high end quality.

You can also do a handy trick with faucets that have two handles if you don't need a hot water line. You hook one of the connections directly a city water inlet and the other to a 12volt pump or foot operated pump from a fresh water tank.

For an example, I bought this one from Amazon:

(In case link doesn't work, search for "VANRA Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink Faucet Pull Down" on Amazon.com)

I got it because it can be moved out of the way to leave the sink completely open. It works great. Was a bear to install due to the tightness of the space under the sink.
