It may be gone for a reason I suppose. If you look on page 14 in the Uhaul
repair manual that is available on this site it tells how the solar panel
works. Also says how the converter will charge the battery
, but that's if you have shore power available. I ran a wire off each battery terminal out to where I can connect a battery charger with a meter on it to recharge the battery without having to get right at it as we leave the bed set up all the time and in the CT-13 it is in the rear and covers the access to the battery. Having the solar panel
is nice for the originality of the trailer, but if ours was gone I wouldn't bother to replace it. Good idea to post your looking, never know what might turn up. I also heard they are hard to remove.
