Source for Old RV Parts

I feel like I have hit the jackpot. I purchased $20 worth of "Big box of random RV bits". It contained two exterior shower boxes, with no plumbing, and two florescent 12 VDC fixtures, and a bunch of other cool stuff. OK, I am a hoarder, so what. The point is though, this guy "Salvages RV's for fun". I get all excited, and he says, "Mostly old trailers like the 70's". I start to giggle. I ask if he has any Duo-Therm gravity furnaces. He shows me the one he has. It is huge. Way too big. He says he has six more, at his salvage site, where he just came from.

I will be visiting this site.

Here is the stuff he is currently listing:
Kijiji : Poster's Ads.

I guess he has way more stuff.

He said he had Filon, the stuff that rock guards are made of. He tells me he is usually rough on the aluminum, but I will see what he has. Maybe we can make you a rock guard kootenaigirl.

Another WONDERFUL Salvage yard is OPEN!

Some of you in the Pacific Northwest may remember Singleton's. The owner died slowly of Leukemia and the family shut the shop down for at least 3 years, if not longer. It is now bought out by Loren, one of the tried ad true workers of old Singletons. He, his wife and some of their eight children work almost around the clock. It's been open since October of 2013. It's ONLY 1 mile off the I-5 Freeway at the Centralia exit (factory outlet stores)

I stopped by 2 weeks ago and hit a treasure trove of OLD PARTS. I got the exact same license plate & light holder that originally came with my 1973 Compact II, as well as other stuff. I spent almost 2 hours with Loren and he didn't leave my side. I could've spent another 2 hrs in there, by myself, looking at every piece of eye candy for my retro little girl.

Anyone with an older trailer will be thrilled, and even those with more modern trailers, there's some new stuff (awnings) and parts like bead, gutters and belly bands.
His address info is:

Loren - Owner 30-669-0346 E-Mail address: wcrv1103@gmail.com
West Coast RV Recycling & Sales
1103 W. Reynolds Ave, Suite 1
Centralia, WA 98531

{ feel free to tell him his funny, "NEW BEST FRIEND", Barbara said to stop by!!}
