Quick update and shameless bump,

I just received an email from Tom who is on his way back to AZ. I've asked him a couple of question from above and directed him to the thread. Maybe he will answer some of the questions here.

Once I get his response I'll see if I can create a poll in this thread to give us all a general visual of where we or start a new thread if need be. Maybe I'll get some pointers off Brian BP and Dave Tilston for their effective methods of updating lists.

Roy

I have no idea Chris,
I know that on the new ones the decal is on a smooth gel coat.

I met up with Tom in Toronto today we discussed the need for extra pairs of "Trillium 4500" decals for the front and rear as well as the extra blue striping. He is going to check into it and get back to me.

I'll keep people posted.

Did Tom give any sort of timeline? I may just end up doing my own given his track record for taking an overly loooong time.

No he didn't Dave.
What were you planning on doing on your own? The body decal's and striping?
It sounds as if the striping may be the problem. If Tom has not replied by the time you get to doing those, post your findings and pricing here.

Those we should be able to source easily, the silk screened tire and tank covers will be more difficult.
His tire covers looked to be nicely made and come in cheaper than what I've been trying to source (plain) for my boler American made locally. I don't like the cheap tire cover I got from the RV shop.

I spoke with Tom again yesterday. Because he deals with different suppliers the time lines differ. He wants / needs the silk screened items namely the tire cover and silk screen covers ASAP since he is putting an order in within the next 2 weeks. The decals will be ordered much later. If you are considering doing your own Dave, I'm watching this thread by Jimbo.
I have a source for TrailsWest Campster Decals
We may want or need to do that. I've got someone local that I can check out as well. I agree we need to cover out bases.

Dave Baston, a member who has gone over to the dark side was supposed to send me a piece of the striping he sourced that was an exact match. I'll ask him again.

Tom's short notice is not good timing for me to do the legwork on getting members committed. Although we've been talking about this for a number of months, he dropped the bomb that he needs an answer in 10 days. I'm in the middle of enlarging my garage door and have prepaid for rentals for this weekends work. I'll clear out my inbox and get going on contacting all the 4500 owners that have been online in the last few years.

Roy, I would want the 4500 decals for both front and back, also the double stripe.

Trillium 4500 accessory order

In order for this to happen, perhaps this needs to be split into two posts:

  1. Vinyl Decals (Trillium 4500, stripes front and door logos), and:
  2. Silk screened Covers (tire and propane)
Since the silk screened items have suddenly developed a less than 10 day order window, while the decals are who-knows-when. I see things getting lost in the thread...

I agree Dave,
That was my intention. I was hoping to connect with Chris to be able to gather the information which would make it easier for Tom and us both to get the striping / decals. Chris will not be available for a week, so I'll have to start without his input.

Let me do a bit of searching here to see if Chris has previously posted answers to my questions.

Blues buy you?

Not sure what/if there is any progress on the tire covers/propane tanks or if this is dead in the water? ~ 5days left for Tom's deadline?

Sorry Dave. There has been no progress. I had commitments long before Tom resurfaced with his short timeline.
