This is a great opportunity to get a tail light assembly.

The hubs are no bargain, as we have found they are readily available at any auto parts store for an early 2000's Camaro / Firebird.

Sometimes it's location, location, location. These parts are available in New Brunswick which may perfect for someone on the other side of the border. Too finding parts for a US motor vehicle maybe time consuming and expensive... then there's shipping!

Called and is a nice guy but those lights are the replacement alloy housing type most of us already have as a backup! Still waiting for that locker full of NOS lenses in perfect condition to be unearthed...

Yes, Mr. Bob that's right!

I am tempted to buy one of those strikers even tho I don't need one. When they get all sold out then mine will break and I'll wish I had a backup...

Don; I think you better order one, never know if you'll need it, and not an easy part to fabricate. Price is cheap enough!! There is a steel plate also on ebay that I think goes on the back side of the wall to mount the striker, but that's easy to make, and what could go wrong with it anyway. I like to get any spare parts that I may possibly need, currently have two extra L300's, two door hinges, two tail light adapters, two hubs, and now ordered two door strikers. Last I knew the hubs and light adapters were still available. Maybe I should get more of those light adapters, put in a cheap round light, and try to sell them in the original box for $100!

Yea, I don't get the big price markup, given that UHaul still sells them for $25 a pair, with free shipping.

If you can convince some people that something is rare they will buy it. I imagine there are a lot of Uhaul owners that are not aware of the availability of this part, or the hubs. I'm sure I learned about them here, and how many Uhaul owners out there are not on this great forum and have no clue as to the workings of their trailers.

funny how everyone likes the original lens...i kinda like the round led look myself.
I dont see LED in general as cheap, i see it as an upgrade, its got a way better light output, it last a very long time and in case of problem it's readilly available everywhere.

but thats just me.

You are in luck. If you have the original tail lights, install the aluminum round ones and sell yours for a tidy profit.

Iwill most likely do that, but not before next year...more important things to do to the camper right now

I'll send my adapters right up to you, if you'll send the original lights back.
