Thank you, Thomas. That was the one I was looking at. Also:

How to Make a Mold of a Taillight Lens | eHow.com

A discussion here: How to make tail light lenses?

The trouble with this information is that it describes small lenses and most of us Uhaul owners need the large lens covers that are in two colors.

U-Haul Travel Trailer Parts were made for U-Haul. Every part is marked U-Haul furnace, stove, range hood, solar panel. U-Haul still sells parts for the trailers. All inside the cabinets and under the table was a decal that said Property of U-Haul not for sale. The first tires from Goodyear said U-haul. Their is a U-haul owners website. If you want to keep it original good luck finding the parts.

I think that the fellow that was making these teased the lens apart and made an amber and a red piece, then glued them together. The process would be the same for a the UHaul tail light as for the small demo, just more difficult.

Thanks, Tom!

I see that the one linked to says "Arrow" on it- do I understand folks to mean that this shape is correct, but that the words "U-Haul" should appear on it somewhere?

I'll post the image from E-bay for reference:

Where are you putting the bath? Some folks put one up front in lieu of the bench.

We love having a bath in the VT. We rarely use the shower, but it is there if needed. The other facilities get used all the time.

Yes gonna wash it. But I would love to have a bathroom in it. Most likely put a porta potty back between the front two seats. Don't plan to need one as if I go I plan to have access to a flushing toilet. But the sun has went behind the clouds and its getting colder so it may be another day when this thing gets its bath.

Is it true that the CT's had a porta potty as original equipment when they were in the rental fleet, and marked "Uhaul" like everything else on the trailer? Ours has all the original Uhaul marker light lenses. The rear center lights are all individual lights, not a three light bar.

Yes, mine came with the original porta potty.

True for the VT. I have one but have never used it. Picts available for the morbidly curious.
