Don, I have been camping and loving my CT, it's nowhere near perfect, has leaky windows. But I do have a good working 12 volt system now.
Have never had that before and LOVE IT!

Hope you get a lid! Again, beautiful trailer!

I am so very pleased to report that H. Mike McGurn graciously gave me an original battery box lid!!!!! He had previously given me an upper bunk hinge and I am indebted to him. I actually felt so good in receiving those things that he caused me to send someone else something and that felt even better!!!!

It's like Mr. Mike said, we need to keep these UHaul items among us UHaulers as they are no longer available and not generic if you want to stay original.
(he is rebuilding his CT this year so please keep this in mind if he needs anything)

I am glad you got your 12 volt system working. I try to keep my battery charged by the converter every few days to keep it from sitting too long and sulfating. The solar panel is supposed to help with that but mine is partially blocked by the rooftop ac. I do hope to eventually get some more pictures showing inside, the awnings ,etc. I wanted to do the Red Max (Zep) treatment
first and just have not gotten the time yet. Also considering the UHaul decals which I bought some time ago from Goosler. (Pat)

Incidentally, it has been the rainy season down here and I have some little leaks as well! I realize it is to be almost expected but was hopeing I might
have a rare one, NOT!

I somewhat identify with that from my previous career. Also,

I know I have been negligent on pics but still plan on doing it 'someday' if the CREEK INDIANS don't rise (and the Lord's Willing, of course) I have intentions of doing the Red Max (Zep) thing first, like Tom did! His trailer looks like a new one!!!
