Uhaul CT 13 heater

I have a heater from our newly purchased '85 Uhaul CT13. We have no interest in it and would rather use the space for something else. Not sure what the going rate would be for this thing, nor am I clear if it works. Frankly, I'm just looking to get it to a home if someone wants it.

Name your price!

I'll get pics up when i have a moment.

jkjliuh;

I beg your forgiveness for posting a non-helpful reply. I, too, have a stock U-Haul CT13 heater I don't know what to do with, so I checked your post. And then I typed a bit of nonsense [above], and tried to post a picture, since this hasn't worked in a long time for me.
I'm going to "submit" this reply [and pic] just to see if it works. Again, sorry to use your thread for a guinea pig.

Best wishes on finding a new home for your heater,
Gary

Glenn,
Right you are... I should have used that, and not highjacked Bob's thread for my own curiosity.
My sincere apologies for bad forum manners,
Gary

I just bought a 13 Casita with no propane anything and am interested in upgrading Don't know what new or used heater goes for or if there is a reason it couldn't be used in a Casita. What would be fair to you and I?
Thanks

Uhaul heater

Can you post a photo of the haul heater with approximate sizes - I might be interested in it.

To anyone interested in the workings of and/or repair of the stock U-Haul furnace, here's a thread on that from this site:

repairing Uhaul furnace

This thread was cited today over on the Facebook U-Haul forum, where someone is currently wrestling with their furnace. The Facebook thread also has some photos of the furnace, and some tips on removing one.

Re location: just below the closet inside the entrance door.

I sent a PM to the gentleman who started this thread [which I intruded on earlier]... haven't got an answer back. If he hasn't responded by middle of next week, I'll offer up my own U-Haul CT13 furnace for sale... I just don't want to steal a potential sale from him. [FWIW--I'm in central Iowa]

Gary
