Would like a original boler aluminum roof vent

If any one has and does not want or need an original boler pull chain aluminum roof vent in working condition I am very interested. I know owners have replaced their roof vents with fantastic fans and such. I have almost everything original in my 1973 boler, except my roof vent. Vintage Trailer Supplies sell one, but it is too big. If there is another place to by a replica roof vent the same size, please let me know the name.

Thanks

Wanted '78 Boler Vent

I too am looking for a vent for my 1978 Boler. I feel the same way as the guy who posted above.

I will be removing at least two 9" vents from my 13' Trilliums. I have no idea if they are the same as the ones used on Bolers. If you are in a hurry, I may not be the best bet. I have lots of jobs ahead of the vents in my 1300's.

I'm not in a hurry, as I just finished fixing the leak in my existing roof vent. I just would like to restore it back to all original parts for future. I will ask around in the mean time if one of your 2 up coming vents would work or even fit. Boler vents are around 9" as well.

Can't really help much. I'm not so concerned about being original.. these trailers aren't Model Ts. If you're looking for a metal Lid.. check out Li'l Bear.. but it's 14x14, about 3/4 down the page: Li'l Bear Tag Alongs

They also have a 9x9, but it's plastic... paint it SILVER!

Tracey, tear drop owners will be your best bet for something OEM. Most all molded owners are looking to replace original parts with something a bit better.

Best of luck

Tracey; We have a 1973 13' Boler (Earlton, Ont built) that we are about to 'renovate'; just as soon as our new 'workshop' is completed - likely during this winter. Ours has the aluminum pull-chain vent, which will likely be replaced. Perhaps you're interested ?

Dave if you are replacing it and no longer would be using it....then yes I would be very interested. I still haven't heard back from Jason on his vent he has.
I am in no hurry for it either, as mine plastic one is still holding on. When it comes time to replacing yours, please get a hold of me again and we can make arrangements.
I forgot to ask...does it still work?

Thanks Dave

Tracey: It works well; and will continue to do so until I get 'Lilypad' indoors for further work. I'll search back here, when the vent become available. - TTFN - Dave
