After you click "confirm" in the pop-up, you wait for the e-mail to show up in your inbox and click on the verification link in the e-mail. It's a 2-step process. It took a minute or two to receive the e-mail. Until you do that, the pop-ups keep appearing. No need to respond to any but the first.

Once I opened the e-mail and clicked the verification link I got a "verification complete" message right away and no more pop-ups.

If it's not working like that, contact the admin team.

Personally, I think this is all about selling our emails to a third party.

After 2 days and clicking on the "Email Address Validation" pop-up dozens of times I still have not received a validation email. Very frustrating
Technology at times really sucks

Is the e-mail being sent to a current address? Have you checked in your spam folder, social folder or other?

FWIW, I got the message, clicked on it, and went to another page and got the message again. After a minute or so I got the confirmation email, clicked on the link and all is hunky dory now.

Easy peasy.

The email listed is correct and no email has arrived in any folder: Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates, Spam or even filters into Trash.

Even replying to this message I ended up "clicking" the validation link 3 more times .... no email.

Originally when I received the email I tried clicking on the 1st choice link and it would take me to an error. I then clicked on the second link which appeared to be the same as the first but gave me a different result. However the different result did not give me validation and I also had to keep clicking the validation notice. Yesterday I went to the email again and tried the first choice again and it validated me. Just keep trying but in my case the second choice link did nothing use the first choice.

I believe all of my efforts were yesterday. Could have been very early and continued into the evening. Probably seemed longer as it wasn't initially productive.

It says Monday at 5:51pm
which is weird because I remarked on the board at 5:12 and I had been trying to validate for some time.
