That makes for a really ugly screen and doesn't take me to the first unread, automatically.

This has nothing to do with email. I don't want notifications of posts and I've turned that off to best of my ability.

So you want to be able to sign on and then be taken to the first new post in any thread, new or old? Is this the question?

There is a list of topics on the right side of this screen, under "Recent Threads" ( below the ad ). I want to click on a topic and go to the first unread post, not to the first post. That is how it works on the Escape Forum.

Glenn, we've made some changes and think this is working properly now. Moving forward you should see this. I'm not sure how it will impact older content.

Yes, I see it now, on the main screen, "Last post" heading in menu. Glenn it is in the top menu, not the far right menu like in Escape.

I clicked on this topic on the far right list of discussions and it zapped me to the first unread.

I was going to ask. The first post that I go to in a thread now is the oldest one I have not read. BRILLIANT! No more wasting time re-reading postings to find the new ones.

Only seems to work form the Recent Threads list though.
