Classified ad problem

I have been trying futilely to place a classified ad for Uhaul camper parts. I am obviously signed in and when I click the "add a listing" button/link under the classifieds tab, nothing happens. Can you advise me as to what the problem might be? Thanks

I don't know why that link isn't working but you can just scroll down to the "Marketplace" section of our forums, and then click on the category that fits what you are trying to sell. (Parts.) Once you've done that, click on the "New Thread" button that's just above the list of current ads.

Gerry, are you selling some Uhaul parts, or looking for something?

Uhaul camper parts

I am both selling and looking.

I have a door side storage compartment insert for a Uhaul CT-13 in great shape (you know it drops in the hole under the dining seat).

And probably just like about every other Uhaul camper owner, I am looking for two window pull/latches which has defied all my best efforts for seven years!

Thanks, Gerry

Some Uhaul owners think they absolutely need to have those storage area bins, so it should be an easy sell. Our Uhaul came with two in it, right rear and one front. We don't use them because there is much more storage space with it removed. There has not been a good solution for the window pull handle. A couple possibilities are CR Lawrence FP419 or Perko Sliding Window Handle available from West Marine. They may need a shim to fit tight, like a piece of tire tube or whatever. Don't have that problem myself as I installed new windows, so can't say if those handles will work.

Maybe just some kind of knob stuck on with the glue that's used to attach a rear view mirror to the windshield like on older cars. Warning, I did it with my '78 pickup, glued the mirror on, and eventually it came off and took a piece of glass with it.
