Daily email has stopped again

This is the kind of problems some people have that use AOL.

Let explain about AOL. First my information is first hand and happened about 10 years ago.
I was managing a web site and was notified not forward email message to an AOL account. What was happening, and far as I know still the same today. If somebody marks an email as spam AOL was shutting off anything to all their clients that came from that web site. Not just to the person that reported something as spam but the entire AOL email clients.

I use gmail and have not been getting the list of new posts to my email for several days. Just checked my preferences and email notification is on. I have however been getting notification of single new posts, maybe one or two daily.
Curious?

Many if not most or all, email servers have spam filters. Sometimes those will catch emails and hold them You might want to check that. If gmail doesn't give you access to the spam filter ask for it. I use Earthlink and I can set anything the spam filter catches as good mail.

Gmail has an excellent spam filter. I rarely get spam but can easily check the spam folder. As well as the trash folder. I brought this up because in the past the daily emails stopped for a number of people. Most people are skilled enough to check “ the usual suspects” which I did. My profile shows I’m still subscribed yet I get nothing.

That is the address the subscription notices are sent from. Chances are good these are in a promotions or social folder...

Thanks Janet. I just did that and nothing new came up just some old notifications. No worries. Maybe others are not noticing if anything is missing as happened before it was a number of days before more people reported the missing emails. I look forward to the daily messages but I can live without them.

gene I use yahoo mail I always get my mail notifications maybe change your email for this site? you would have to make a new yahoo email account?

Janet, thanks. I have added that address to my contacts list in Gmail. I did check all spam and it was not there.

I haven't received the daily newsletter for about a week. They aren't in my spam folder, (or anywhere else in my mail) I don't use AOL and I see no other reason for them to be discontinued. I do miss them. Karin
