In the app, go to the forum and sub-forum in which you want to start a new thread. In the upper right you'll see three dots. That will bring up a menu. Choose "new topic."

How to change username? Was very excited, when came across this site. Found my the fiberglass rv I was going to purchase ~1976 boler, hence the name rocknboler. Well, deal fell through (Who knew someone, would try to make a buck, pulling an old boler out of a field where mice had their way with it for years) Now am proud owner of 1996 Scamp I am rebuilding. Need to change name to rocknscamp (if not already taken). Earth Science teacher with what my students would say might be an unhealthy attachment to all things rock. Thanks for any help you can give securing a more appropriate name.

Is there a way to "imbed" my photos in a post? If I want to do a tutorial on how to install/fix something, I'd want to have some instructions, then a photo of what I'm talking about, then more instructions, then a photo.

It doesn't seem like there's a way to do that, other than hosting the photos on another site first.

They all just show up at the bottom of the post.

Yes, there is. After you go to "Manage Attachments" and upload up to four images, return to your post. Put your cursor anywhere in the text, then click the paperclip icon and choose the picture you want. An attachment will pop up in your post.

You can even return to "Manage Attachments" and upload and insert more pictures in the same post. There is an upper limit, I think either 8 or 10.

It's always a good idea to use "Preview" before you "Submit" so you can verify that it looks like you want.

Here's what it looks like (see post #4): http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ons-72253.html

You can't edit a post, unless you do it right away. If you message a moderator we can set the post so that you can edit it, or we could do it for you .

You can create a new thread in the "Rallies" forum whenever you have the info that you want to share. Next year's calendar won't be loaded in until sometime late in the year, so you'd need to come back and add to that - but there's no restriction on adding your new thread in the rallies forum. Just, please title in this format:

year, month days: rally location or title

Thanks for asking!

I use the FiberglassRV app for about 75% of my time on the boards. No ads and no pop-ups.

There are some important forum features I cannot access from the app, especially the google site search, so visits to the full website on my laptop account for the other 25%.

We do have to realize this site is free to users, but it is run by a for-profit company. Compared to, say, Facebook, the commercial interruptions are minimal here.

Ah ha, I totally understand. Thank you

You should be able to message a member, but you can’t include links. Phone numbers and e-mails turn into links unless you disguise then. Try something like: johndoe at gmail dot com, or one23 - 45six - 789zero

If your post is older than 24 hours (I believe), it becomes fixed. I would post an update as a response [Quote] to the one you want to update.

The edit window in the regular forums is 12 hours. The classifieds are hosted on a different page, and the settings and procedures are different there. I've never listed a trailer for sale, so I don't know how editing works.

There are two ways to contact the site team. All the way at the bottom of this (and every) forums page is a small link that says "Contact Us." You can also reach out to Janet directly. There's a button to send a private message at this link (found at the bottom of the "Community" menu in the blue task bar):
