Help! Can't edit ad

I posted a for sale ad in the classifieds for my Boler and I have finished some off the work on the trailer and want to update my ad and post new pictures. I can't find how to edit the post anywhere. I searched the forum and it says click the edit button in the post which I do not have. What do I do?

A post is editable for a limited amount of time only. Post a reply to your original post with the updated info.

The [edit] button is ephemeral. It only lasts one day, I understand. Simply make a new post in the same thread as a follow up.

12 hours, actually, but a moderator can help you make changes if needed. There is a tiny "Contact Us" link at the very bottom of most pages on the site.

The advantage of adding a new post to announce a change is it gets bumped to the top of the "new posts" pile, so more people will see it.

For a sale listing it is better to do like Jon said, and contact a moderator. We will gladly flip the switch so you can edit it.

If folks just read the Posting Rules sticky at the top of every Sale sub-forum, all this is outlined there.

BTW Vienna, the switch is flipped, edit away.
