Happened to me last night and again this morning. I go to the main FiberglassRV website, click the forum link on the left, and then go to log in. Fill is the user and pass and get directed to the following URL:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/index.ph...t=Login&CODE=01
which redirects to
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/index.php?act=usercp
and it's that page that throws the HTTP 406 Not Acceptable error (at least in IE).

406 can be so many things. It is hard to track down from here.

Yesterday I cleared up one that had frustrated me for 6 weeks. It turned out the server has had many hacking attacks and in order to protect the server from these attacks, they loaded some band words.

perl is one of the words. I tried installing a program with a modual that has a call for hyperlink.php. One of the 257 files in the program was named hyperlink.php. Guess what, perl is in the file name = hyperlink

I changed the name to link.php and all the calls and everything worked.

Tracking down this issue may take awhile (if I find it at all.)

Sounds like fun....

Look on the bright side, you're not re-writing 1000's of lines of PHP. (or are you )

I do everything I can to make this site fun and easy. I just run out of time. Sometimes itís a matter of priorities.

Still trying to make a living.

Thanks for your understanding.
