Joe, I'm happy with the application overall. It works well with my iPhone and my iPad. I just like to find out what that number is all about.

I'm also using Dragon dictation to write this message, I highly recommend that app.

This sounds very interesting!

Would any of you mind describing in a bit more detail what exactly this app is called; where it can be found/bought; and what steps are necessary to make it work with this forum?

Thanks very much.

The app is very cool indeed! I can now add pictures to my posts. It works very well. Highly recommended!
(I'm using both an iPhone and iPad).

Speaking of other apps - I love TouchDraw (iPad app only, but they are coming out with a Mac version, they tell me) for doing tech drawings. I used to use Xournal (a Linux app) but TouchDraw is one sweet little program for iPad users!

Another one I like is PhotoGene (iPad & iPhone app) - it's what I used to put balloon comments in photos in my reno posts.

A little late but...

These are unread subscribed threads. At the bottom right there is a "button" with the word More under three dots. Pressing "More" brings up a menu page, the top of which is "Subscribed" (like going to the list in User CP). When you have read the posts in subscribed threads the number will go away.

In figured it out on the iPad app, since the 'subscribed' button is not hidden in a sub menu. Nice app, overall. I like being able to easily post pics from the iPhone without using photo bucket or some other image host.

I've enjoyed being able to post photos direct from the phone, too. I do miss the Unread Posts link, though.

My only problem with the standard forum templates is that the Last Post link is so close to the User Details link, that about ten percent of the time I wind up getting the user details page. That wouldn't be so bad except the system logs the last visitor to each profile page, giving the appearance I'm cyberstalking everyone!

Okay, it worked for a teeny tiny photo that I saved from a thumbnail on the web. Any idea of the max size it might work for?

That post kind of ended up in the wrong place, sorry... I did figure out if I resize to 640x480 I can upload from the ipad. I used "iResize" which cost $.99.

Is anyone else having trouble with pictures opening with the iPhone app? Today when I click the pictures it says "this photoset contains no photos"

I am able to open the pics in "this is getting out of hand" with no problem.
