The browser is under the impression you have started to enter data in a form, thus leaving may be unintentional and it seeks confirmation.
Easy to test, try entering some text in a the box for posting, then try and use the borwsers back button or a link to leave the page. Good chance you will get that prompt. There is something else that can trigger it too, can't for the life of me remember what it was.

The only time I get a message like that is on Facebook when I have failed to hit the submit button after I made a comment. Windows 10 Pro and Firefox.

Please check to see that your browser is up to date and all your plugins are also updated. That should resolve the issue.

R U SURE UR SURE?
This message pops up now and again. I think it is an add-on from some advertisers. I know if you pick one of those commercials where they talk on and on and you get tired of it and try to leave, that window will appear.

Funny, as I said before, I was getting that pop up for a week before someone posted a question about it. Funny that it stopped happening on my computer a short time after that post, glad it's gone.

I run Linux and ad-blocker. Recommend both.

Cheeky to post that you use ad-blocker on a site that is supported by ads.
On the other hand, until sites come up with a method of delivering ads that don't irritate people to the degree that some do, I guess I'll use it too.
I'm pretty much done with Facebook with all the 'suggested posts' etc.

You can add "Purity" to Facebook and filter that stuff out.
