Love the app, tell me, was it hard to create? I'm on another vBulletin-powered forum and it would be great if they had one; it is so much easier to post a photo from my iPad if I can upload it directly. (Well, I haven't actually tried it here yet but I will soon, I'll do a campground report.)

Okay, tried the app, but I cannot upload photos. I get a message on the ipad saying "cannot allocate memory." I tried a smaller picture with no luck. Help!

The app is for browsing the forum and posting messages. It doesn't support all the features of the regular forum, (yet?) sorry.

I think the FGRV app is just a branded version of the Forum Runner Iphone OS App for VBulletin forums. I think there's some code you need to install on your Vbulletin server, but you can probably Google Forum Runner and learn all about that.

I have never succeeded with anything bigger than a screenshot. I think that's the error you get if the photo is too large. Did it grind away for three or four minutes and then drop that error?

No, it only took about 30 seconds and then gave that message. I shrunk the picture (well, cropped it) and it took just as long. I'll try something really small and see what happens. But it doesn't do much good to have the app if I can't upload pictures; the rest of the forum works on Safari. And if there is an easy way to make pictures small enough I don't know it. (I'll look into that.)
