You have inspired me! Was that a 13' camper?

If you ask the question to me, in a sense it is a 13' camper: the inside length is 13' 4".
But the overall length is 19'.

Hi, Lex! I just came across this. That is one incredibly beautiful egg. Rita has great taste.

It sounds like it has hidden legs. Or might Sebrin have been there when you unpacked?

that is eerie!

In the aftermath of our journey we had the honour to be the hosts of Raymond & Monique from Canada :-)
They are now on the road to Amsterdam.

Hi: Lex& Rita...WE decided to get a new more reliable tug but havn't been able to hook up yet. The 5.0 is in storage to keep it from sliding in the snow. Once we get well into March we can do final adjustments to the hitch and pin box to level the tow.

I normally like it when a post prompts me to scan through a thread from long before I joined this board. This one is bittersweet, but it's clear that Rita and Lex enjoyed their trip, made some good friends, and returned with wonderful memories. Hard to do better than that.

Hi everybody,
Revisiting my blog I clicked this thread.
What a joy to read it again. The journey of our lifetime.
I am trying to pick up live again, alone.
We sold the BIOD 400TL and I bought myself a small BIOD Bambi (1979).
I visit fiberglass gatherings in NL.
http://rilexm.eu/mp4/biod/2018-06-gvpwe.mp4
I cycle a lot (NL is for cycling).
Last summer I spend 2 weeks in England camping and celebrating our grandson's birthday there: Filmpjes GB
As you can see in the url's, I am using an alternative way to watch photos: slide show with music that I like. When Rita was living in the nursing home, I visited her almost every evening, trying to entertain her with those slide shows a.o. So I made some of our American tour: Filmpjes NA
A tribute to Rita: http://rilexm.eu/mp4/1960-onlyyesterday.mp4 This is probably my way of mourning.
May you be healthy, happy and trailing wonderful :-)
Lex

Delightful to read of our America...

Lex, how are you? Do stop in to share what you are doing?

I stopped in at your blog again. What a delightful read.
Best wishes,
Gigi

Hi Gigi,
Thank you for your interest in me. I am alone, but okay :-)
I still travel with my little trailer, mainly in NL. I love cycling and NL is the best for cycling.
It looks like that we are coming out of the covid19 crisis. When covid19 started, I started cycling, if possible every day, depending of the weather. And between breakfast and dinner I only eat some fruit. That is why I lost 14 kg of weight :-)
Travelling abroad I do with a group. Last september we were in France. I like travelling with a group. All is organized and the company of people is nice.
For my fellow travellers I put some stuff on the web.

I hope you are okay and healthy.
Best wishes,
Lex

PS. I am on facebook, with American 'friends' :-)
