Anyone Ever Stay at Tropical Palms in Orlando?

We'll be getting our Casita 17 SD in November and are thinking of spending some time in Orlando. I was looking at campgrounds online and read some pretty good reviews about Tropical Palms RV park. Has anyone ever stayed there? Thanks for any info. you can give me! Jo

I stayed at Lake Lousia SP which is about 20 min. from the attractions near Orlando. The Restrooms were really clean and like new. The sites were nice but not too many trees around. There were two smaller lakes with fishing piers near the campsites and everyone fishing was catching some nice fish. There is also a nice fruitstand right down the road that lets you pick your own oranges and has it has good jellies and jams. Also you can't beat Fla. SP rates.

Thanks, Eddie. I'd heard that Lake Louisa is a real nice SP. We may give it a try... We'll be spending a couple of months in Florida, so I was looking at places where we could take advantage of reduced rates for staying a month or so. We may give Lake Louisa a try for a few days (I believe there's a 14-day max. at the Florida state parks). There's another park that looks nice, but its an Encore Thousand Trails RV park (Lake Magic RV Resort). To get the real good reduced rates, you need to be a member and we don't want to do that. Anyone have any experience with Encore Thousand Trails?
